cnvz is an abstract wallpaper design application developed by Alex Andrews. This Privacy Policy explains how cnvz handles information when you use the cnvz applications on Android, iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Summary
cnvz is designed to work locally on your device. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, subscriptions, in-app purchases, analytics, behavioral tracking, or data-collection SDKs.
cnvz does not sell personal information. The app does not automatically transmit your designs, usage activity, or device information to the developer or to third parties.
Information processed on your device
cnvz processes the following information locally to provide its features:
- Canvas designs, presets, palettes, and wallpaper settings you create or modify.
- App preferences, including interface, editing, motion, and haptic settings.
- Images and cnvz files you choose to import, export, save, or share.
- Motion-sensor input, when supported and enabled, to provide interactive depth or parallax effects.
This information remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it. Motion-sensor input is used in real time and is not transmitted to the developer.
Your operating system or device backup service may back up locally stored app information according to your device and account settings. Those backups are controlled by your platform provider and are subject to that provider's privacy policy.
Device permissions and system features
Depending on your platform and the features you use, cnvz may access system capabilities for the following purposes:
- Wallpaper access: To apply a design as a static or live wallpaper when you request it.
- Photos or media storage: To save an exported wallpaper or open a file you select.
- Motion sensors: To create optional motion and parallax effects.
- Haptics or vibration: To provide optional tactile feedback.
- System sharing: To share an image, file, QR code, or cnvz canvas code through an app or service you select.
cnvz only uses these capabilities to perform the action you request.
Sharing and exports
When you choose to share or export content, cnvz passes the selected content to the operating system's share interface or saves it to a destination you choose. Any third-party application or service you select may process that content under its own privacy policy. cnvz does not automatically upload your content to a developer-operated server.
Contacting support
The Contact Support feature opens your device's email application. If you email [email protected], the developer will receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to provide. Support communications are used only to respond to your request, investigate reported issues, and maintain necessary correspondence. They are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.

Data sharing and sale
cnvz does not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or marketing. User-directed exports and shares are sent only to the destination you select.
Data retention and deletion
Designs, presets, palettes, and preferences stored by cnvz remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Files and images you export remain in the location where you saved them until you delete them there.
Because cnvz does not maintain user accounts or a developer-operated cloud database, the developer cannot remotely access or delete information stored only on your device.
Security
cnvz limits information handling to the local storage and system services needed to provide its features. Information stored on your device is protected by the security controls of your operating system and device. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but cnvz minimizes risk by not operating a remote service that receives your designs or app activity.
Children's privacy
cnvz is not specifically directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if cnvz's features or information-handling practices change. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
